We are all a part of the story – the overlapping strokes of colors recorded on a shared canvas, the technicolored chips prevailing the breakage and laying together the most beautiful mosaic. Nevertheless, if we restrain our storytellers, who will  reveal the truths of our, hopes, potentials, and legacies? Some believe the arts are unnecessary for society's growth and hesitate to permit its inclusion. While art will continue to progress in form and remain a prominent influencer for future generations, if we silence the voice of artists and art's reflected voice of the people, our storied canvas remains veiled, and society as a whole is impacted.
